🔒 Your Dreams Stay Yours
We store NONE of your dreams on our servers. Your dream journal lives locally on your device only. When Amber reflects on a dream, only that dream's text is sent for analysis, processed transiently, and immediately discarded. When you delete the app, all your data is permanently removed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an account?
No! Dreamber does not require any account creation. There are no usernames, passwords, or login credentials. Simply download, subscribe, and start catching your dreams.
How does voice capture work?
The moment you wake up, tap "Log a dream" and just talk. Your speech is transcribed on your device using Apple's speech recognition — your audio never leaves your phone. You can always type instead, or edit the text afterwards.
How do I delete my data?
Since there are no accounts and all dreams are stored locally on your device:
- Delete individual dreams by long-pressing them in your Journal
- Or simply delete the app from your device to remove everything
- No dream data remains on any servers (because we don't store it there in the first place)
How do I cancel my subscription?
To manage or cancel your Dreamber Plus subscription:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Select "Dreamber"
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
You'll retain Plus access until the end of your current billing period. You can also restore a previous purchase anytime from Settings → Restore purchases inside the app.
Why do I need a Plus subscription?
The Plus subscription covers the costs of AI dream analysis. Each reflection — themes, symbols, emotional tone, and pattern detection across your dream history — uses AI processing that requires real computational resources. The subscription keeps Dreamber private, ad-free, and account-free.
Are Amber's reflections dream "interpretations"?
Amber reflects and wonders — she never diagnoses or claims certainty about what a dream means. Reflections are generated by AI for personal self-reflection and entertainment. They are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you're experiencing distress or sleep problems, please consult a qualified professional.
How do streaks and freezes work?
Log at least one dream a day to grow your streak, with milestones at 3, 7, 30, and 100 nights. At a 7-night streak, Amber tucks away a streak freeze — it automatically protects your streak if you miss a single day. No guilt, ever: if your streak breaks, Amber just hibernates until you come back.
I didn't get my morning reminder — what should I check?
- Make sure notifications are enabled: iPhone Settings → Notifications → Dreamber
- Check your reminder time in Dreamber's Settings tab
- Focus modes (Sleep, Do Not Disturb) can silence notifications — add Dreamber to your allowed apps for your morning Focus
Analysis failed on one of my dreams. What now?
Your dream is always saved instantly — analysis is an extra layer on top. If it fails (usually a network hiccup), open the dream and tap "Try again". If it keeps failing, check your internet connection, and email us if the problem persists.
